How to Play Cornhole

• The game involves two teams of two players each, standing at opposite cornhole boxes.
• Each team gets 4 bags of one color.
• A coin toss determines which team starts. The first player throws a bag from any point behind their cornhole box.
• Play alternates until all 8 bags have been thrown.
• Bags that hit the ground and bounce onto the board are removed from play.
• The game continues until a team scores 21 or more points.

Scoring

• 3 Points: For a bag that goes through the hole
• 1 Point: For a bag on the board’s surface
• 1 Point: For a bag hanging into the hole
• 1 Point: For a bag hanging off the edge but not touching the ground
• 0 Points: For a bag touching the ground or resting on another bag

At the end of each round, the team with the higher score adds the difference to their total score. The winning team throws first in the next round. If scores are tied, the team who had the first throw in the previous round continues to start.
